SUBJ: Additional Information on Your Subject
Dear Al:
A member of our Veterans Network just e-Mailed me a copy of your article, titled "Coors: Americas `Veterans Company" in the September, `96 issue of the VFW Magazine. I found it to be well written and totally in concert with the `Corporate Line of the subject companys PR Department. You, quite accurately, replicated what Coors consistently tells outsiders (Im assuming that you ARE outside the brewerys sphere of financial influence). There is a lot, however, that they dont tell.
I hope that you may be interested in another perspective of their activities. This perspective discloses (what I believe to be) their true motives when Coors professes to be "Placing Veterans Interests First". In this hope, I am enclosing a report on (only) one incident which did not appear to be in concert with the Coors `PR Line. Please note that this is but one report of many `misrepresented incidents which are in our files related to Coors.
Should you require additional substantiation, or copies of original source documents, for the claims made in the enclosed (to document your writing of a `The Rest of the Story article) please do not hesitate to call on me.
Thanking you for your attention and anticipating your response with interest, I remain

Sincerely,
VET-NET
